SurReal is a cosmetic hair care brand that emphasizes simple and natural ingredients.

Challenge:
Design Brief: How to create a simple, elegant and minimalist hair care brand that encapsulates REAL ingredients and ELEVATED quality?
Strategy:
What if we could take the idea of a hair care product that seems too good to be true , but is everything that we promised and more?
What if we could give them a name that elevates the reality of hair care?
We leaned heavily into the word "Real." This is the foundation and core of this natural ingredient product. Then we took the idea of the product being both "real" and "surreal" and combined the two.
By offsetting "Sur" on it's side, it accomplishes two goals:
1. "Real" holds the weight, and is foundational.
2. It gives the subtle impression that things are "slightly off," similar to a dream-like state.
Results:
A simple and elegant hair care brand that embodies minimalist, real ingredients, almost too good to be true.
